"asleep at the spigot"
read this opinion article from the NYTIMES
American Energy Policy, Asleep at the Spigot
it is my impression that sometimes.. argent capitalism, or protectionist tendencies even in a successful industry (and maybe because it is a successful industry) can really prevent smart decisions... aka having enough lobbyists to pay for whatever outcome you'd like to achieve in government decision making
a failure of capitalism? or is it too much government oversight power to begin with?
sorry for not posting, i jsut moved to bloomington and am on the most fucked up sleep schedule ever.. i mean i would consider sleeping only 2-4 hours nightly sometimes waking up in the middle of the night, only to be able to fall asleep again after extensive online shopping a problem.
